Quantifying Damages

from Cardiovascular Injury

& Shortened Life Expectancy

When considering the toll that defective pharmaceuticals may take on a client’s life, it is important to keep in mind life expectancy and the future of a person’s working career.  For instance, a person who survives a myocardial infarction (heart attack) and successfully completes standard therapy still has a life expectancy reduced by 33%, according to Prof. Karl W. Lauderbach at the University of Cologne’s Institute of Health Economics.*  Such a shortened life would typically cut short a person’s working career.

Bear in mind that many professionals would be earning considerably more toward the latter stages of their careers.  A shortened life expectancy represents vocational damages requiring full and fair compensation.  Using expert statistical analysis, Expert Assessments, LLC can produce exhibits answering questions such as “What is the new life expectancy?”, “What is the likelihood that a weakened health condition would affect future income?”, and “How much was this person likely to be earning in years to come?”

Any time you handle a case involving injury, disability, or wrongful death, call Expert Assessments, LLC.  During your first telephone call, Expert Assessments will provide a no charge, no obligation initial consultation to assess whether your case may benefit from one of the reports available from Expert Assessments.  A Vocational Assessment offered by E.A. will compare your client’s vocational impairment to research and data derived from the most reliable government and private sources.  Patrick Clifford, a Nationally Certified Vocational Evaluator, will provide a written expert opinion as to the projected loss of opportunity and income over your clients’ life expectancy.  When called to do so, Expert Assessments, LLC will defend their opinions in court.

These injuries and conditions are among the many health problems that can result in vocational damages and merit an expert Vocational Assessment from Expert Assessments, LLC:
